Using a Button to Update a Record?

I’m building an app that allows people to see their upcoming appointments and either confirm attendance or cancel their appointment.

What I’d like to do is have a “confirm” button and a “cancel” button, and all either button would do is fill in an airtable column for that participant changing their status to confirmed or cancelled.

I’m quite new to Softr so…is that feasible some which way?

Hi!
Action buttons will be there in 2 or 3 weeks. So you arrive at the right moment!

But… in the meantime you would need to use make and webhook to do so.

Here is an example for buttons to delete a record (logic would be the same but within Airtable module in your Make scenario, you would choose “update record” instead of “delete record”): How to delete a record with a button, using Make

Well then I’ll be waiting a couple weeks, easy enough! I’ll take a look at the webhook in the meantime though.
