Noticed that action buttons on List blocks are now left aligned… with no option to change it back to being right aligned.
There are dozens more updates, including the ability to change colours of text used in list filter controls etc. None of these have come with announcements. It would be useful to understand what changes have occurred, so one can make adjustments to their production environments to accommodate changes.
I’m on the same page here. I’ve also been keeping an eye on how things are evolving, and while I’m thrilled by the speed of progress, I think it would be great to see more open communication.
Announcements are good prior to changes, but unfortunately many of Softr’s interface changes discard configuration options that were useful. A good example is the styling of navigation links which were fairly robust, but are now very minimal compared to legacy styling. Softr’s go to suggestion for these kinds of scenarios is to “use vibe coding blocks”, which count against our AI credits, if Im not mistaken.
Softr should strike a better balance between its core customizable configuration options and the variable cost of its new AI customization features. Just because features are new, shiny, and trendy does not make them more useful, let alone cost effective for users.
