How to force a new user to change password upon sign up

If we are adding users to the system manually and sending them an invite that includes a temp password (generated via Softr), is it possible, or how do we force them to immediately change the password to their own?

Hi @bethseam. Softr’s solution for this scenario is incomplete. The User Profile block functionality you mentioned technically works, but the user journey is confusing when a new user lands on a User Profile block that asks for their old password. New users have never entered a password before. In fact, Softr’s docs say that once the user enters the app from a magic link, they can change their password. There’s no mention of how or what that journey or configuration looks like. After I aske…

Exactly, Many users are confused by this form showing old / new password whereas they recieved an invitation (so it’s their first time on the app and they are going to create their password). They get lost, don’t know what to do, repeat… fail…abandon and quit the app.
