does someone knows if softr moved the function to generate a manually password to another section? Cause i can’t find it anymore but in the documentation (Add or import users manually – Softr Help Docs) it’s still there.
Hi Matthias. Softr may not have removed this from their docs yet. My understanding is that all new invites are directed to create a password now before entering an app. This is a relatively new flow that they implemented across the board for users that have never logged in and created a password.

Just to confirm: does this mean the onboarding flow now only works through the invite method with a invite mail, where users must create their own password before logging in for the first time?
In our current workflow, we provide new customers with access details via a physical letter — including the app link, username, and a temporary password, which they then change upon first login.
Since sending physical letters fits our internal process best, I’m wondering: is there any workaround that would still allow us to use a temporary password approach?
Not only invites, onboarding flows also work after sign up. I think they work with magic links too, but we’ve been recommended not to use them for security reasons.
Not sure why Softr isn’t answering your questions. They’re usually quick to help new users in this forum. Have you upgraded already?
