When I embed a softr list set to Visibility=Everyone in a squarespace, it's requiring a login

I would like to publish a public read-only softr list in a Squarespace embed. It is now rendering correctly in Squarespace EXCEPT even though the Visibility in Softr is set to Everyone, it is starting with the login screen. How can I make this publicly visible without a login?

@mpalsf This usually happens when user authentication is enabled at the app level, not the block level.

Even if the list block is set to Everyone, Softr will still show the login screen if the app (or page) requires login. Check:

  • App Settings → User Authentication

  • Page visibility (make sure the page itself is set to Everyone)

Once auth is off for that page/app, the embedded list will load publicly in Squarespace without the login screen.

Hey @mpalsf,

As mentioned you should check both page and block visibility. Both should be set to everyone.

Thanks very much! Always something new to learn.
