Users are created twice when signing up via sign up form

Since I enabled real-time synch, there is a 30% chance that a newly signed up user via the sign-up block creates TWO entries in Airtable.

This is a big problem because my users get a user type tag when they sign up, but the second create user does not have that tag.

So when a user signs up, it happens that they don’t see any of the blocks because now they’re matched with a user without the user type tag.

Does anyone experience a similar problem?

I thought it was one of my automations, but I don’t see any way this could be coming from my end :confused:

Hi @Tim_ClimatEU this feels like something support will need to help you with. We’ve seen this in the past as a bug, and hopefully they can assist you further.

If you haven’t already, try to turn off user caching in the settings area of your app. There may be some cacheing in the background that is delaying some things.

It’s already turned off in my app by default so that the real-time updates come through :slight_smile:
