Two-way syncing databases

I have to databases in Airtable connected to Softr: 1 is the original database (Candidates), and the other one (Users) is a synced table with two-way editing rights. Meaning each candidate is also a user in the platform.

When trying to edit information in the Users database through my Softr app is not allowing me. It turns a message that says “No permission to edit data”. Help.

Hello @allanbravo,

I’d like to clarify that synced tables are currently read-only in Softr and cannot be directly edited within the platform. This limitation ensures that the data integrity remains intact between the synced source and Softr.

If you need editable tables, a potential workaround is to use a native Airtable table or database that is directly linked to Softr as edits cannot be made using API calls in target bases. You can check Limitations section.

Thanks,
