Hello all,
I have my monthly launch today, so I head an influx of users logging in. I’ve had two separate reports of the detail block being blank once opened. One of the users sent me a screenshot, showing this error message.
Can anyone explain what this is? and whether it is something which will fix itself / temporary? As it seems this hasn’t been the issue for everyone as I can see activity from users otherwise.
Ahead of this launch, I updated a number of blocks, including in the record detail. I don’t know whether this is a coincidence or not…
Thanks in advance for any help!
Hi @SdogEinnarg,
What you’re seeing isn’t a bug but rather how the list and list detail blocks are configured.
I assume you have a list detail block on this page and a list or table block below it. You likely set a conditional filter on this second block using values from the list detail block. When the list detail block is not visible (probably you have conditional filter on list details block too and that conditional filter does not return any results), the dependent block won’t be visible either, which is why you’re seeing this warning. Please check the conditional filters applied to the blocks and make sure that you have data meeting those conditions. For more details on conditional filters and linked lists, please refer to the resources attached below. If the issue persists, please reach out to our customer support via chat or email.

Thanks for getting back to me @sveta.ohanyan
I’ve since had more feedback from the user having the issues.
I do indeed have a setup like you’ve described, however, it’s setup as it’s always been (without any issues). The only difference is, I recently updated the blocks to the latest versions / re-created them as the previous ones were too old.
I have had look at the conditional filters, but there doesn’t seem to be any conflicts as far as I can figure out.
She has since told me that the issue is when using Safari. When she uses Edge, everything works fine. We wondered whether it was a cache issue on Safari, but she’s reset her cache and is having the same issue.
Do you have any further comments given this new information about the browser?

That’s really strange—the browser shouldn’t have any effect on how the conditional filters work. Could you please reach out to us via our support chat or email us at support@softr.io with the page URL where this issue occurs so that we can check it out for you? Also, please refer to this thread in the conversation so that you don’t have to repeat everything.
