SSL and NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID

Hello there! :blush:

I linked my newly bought domain name to my softr.io but now I get the message NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID saying the website is unsafe!

I also have an SSL certificate and in Godaddy it says I have to upload the SSL certificates … though I haven’t been able to find where to upload these in softr :confused:

Can anyone help me out here?

Thanks!

ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID is one of the common SSL/TLS errors indicating your browser failed to validate the authenticity of the SSL certificate that secures your website.

This error is also caused by other factors such as:
A Self-signed SSL Certificate
Expired/Outdated SSL Certificate Validity Period
Incorrect Installation process of the SSL on the website
Poor and Unsecured Network Connection
Non-Reliable Certificate Authority (CA) issuing your SSL certificate
Browser cache
Third Party Applications or outdated OS

Irrespective of these root causes …this error can be fixed!
