Companies need to realize AI doesn’t improve everything, and not everyone wants to use it.
I didn’t choose Softr because I want to go back and forth with AI, just trying to make a single, simple change. Which Softr’s only suggested solution was to go back and forth with a different AI instead, to avoid using up credits…(thread link).
It seems Softr has made its main focus expanding its AI capabilities rather than providing updates the community has requested. Such as…
- More options to build complex workflows
- Improved database & external data linking
- Timeline of requested updates (with a counter of users who are requesting the feature)
- Improvements to native blocks. A few examples just for the table block…
- Wrapping Headers
- Change tooltip color
- Users can hide columns
- Freeze multiple rows and/or columns
- Back buttons
- Pop-ups for portal users to see updates & announcements.
I loved Softr when I started using it. It was a no-code builder that still allowed the user to make the changes they wanted. I can’t see myself continuing to use the platform if it becomes just another AI app builder & have already started looking at other options.
