I would love to transition to Softr Databases, because they’re EU based, but one of the things I need is the ability to pull tables back out to CSV - which I can do in moments in Airtable. Is this coming in Softr Databases or is it not-possible for a reason?
Yes, this is coming but not immediately. Given that it’s such a new product, we’re currently focused on helping people get into Softr databases and up and running. Then we’ll circle back to letting people export out of Softr databases as well if need be.
If you ever run into a problem, we could manually export your data for you in the meantime though.

The thing for me is that I use the export function to easy send out emails to my members regarding things they need to do. Example: I work as a matchmaker and have tons of members that have not logged inn to look at their matches. By sorting them in the dabase and then exporting them to my email list is crucial, since the manual work takes to much time. Since there is no automation possibility either, its a bit problematic. Any solutions?
If you’re ok automating more of this, I would suggest creating an automation using Softr to send emails to the specific user once you update their status / field in Softr.
I didnt think softr had that possibility? I did that when using airtable - and airtable automations.
You can use our Call API functionality to trigger external automations (Zapier, Make, etc.,)
Yes thats what I thought but for me its too complicated to do it like that. I do not want to use Zapier or Make for automation. So hoping Softr will make an automation function for its database just like Airtable have 
And a connection from Tally.so too soft database would be great also
I would have to agree. Using an API rather than the much simpler filtered Grid view in Airtable to generate a CSV is another mark against Softr Databases.
I have been looking at pulling the entire table out to Google Sheets using Make.com which will work, but to be honest why would I bother if I can do the same in Airtable with literally 2 clicks?

Yes! It should be so easy to make the possibility to generate the CVS 
Thanks for your feedback here! We’ll make exporting via CSV easier and better as well in the coming weeks / month.
We also have our own “internal automations” on the roadmap, with an early beta program coming for that later this month.
