Can you elaborate a little more about what it means ‘single search bar and search button’

like if we look search bar and search button is become one with tables, list blocks, etc. i mean single search bar and search button is a separated block

Hey @Flee,

It’s a feature request, there is no native option for a separate search bar yet.

But we have a workaround which allows showing the list items only after search. That’s to say you will see only search bar, the info will appear only if you search.

I’ve created workaround that I detailed here. It’s not perfect, but it’s been getting the job done until I complete my own vector search implementation. Hope it helps!

@Suzie and @artur, this seems to have been a simple addition to search bar settings almost two years ago now. A suggestion would be to leave it the way it is as the default and have a simple toggle setting for “No results until the user enters values”. This should be a native feature, because the custom code provided has interactivity issues on the page, including a significant rendering lag of the search bar among other stability issues.
