I would like to see a more detailed accounting for coupon in the customer checkout UX.
Currently, if you apply a coupon code (e.g. 20% off), there are only two choices in softr:
- show the amount to be charged after the coupon is applied, or
- show the percentage amount of the coupon.
This is not enough detail to make the customer comfortable. I think a better checkout experience would be something like this:
Product A $25.00
COUPON -$5.00
Total: $20.00
I think this is a high priority item. This is the UX for a critical interaction with a customer and we believe that customers will abandon carts b/c the current layout is confusing.
