I’m building a portal for my video editing clients. I’d like to set up an email that automatically gets sent when a video’s status changes to “Client Review”. I can set up the personalization tags (Name, Video Title, etc) in the body and subject line of the video. I just need help with the automation.
I could probably set this up through Airtable, but I’d like to have any emails about my portal come from the portal, so doing it through Softr is my preferred option.

Hi there, sounds good and as you say it can be done via Airtable.
As far as I know, Softr.io doesn’t have the capability to send emails, other than to users re: sign up/account password/magic link.
There is another recent thread re: bulk email sending and alternatives that is worth a read for some tips to help your use case.
@BruceVideo this needs to be done via automation platforms at the moment, but will be achievable next year when we launch our own workflows product!

OK. Thanks. No rush on it, it’s just on my “Nice to Have” list. Do you have an approximate timeline for the workflows product? Also, do you know which plans it’ll be available for?
