Referral setup with new sign-up form (no hidden fields?)

Hi everyone,

After the recent Softr renewal, I noticed that we can no longer use hidden fields or custom forms in the sign-up flow.

I’d like to implement a referral system (e.g. passing a referral code or referral ID when someone signs up), but right now it seems tricky since there’s no way to capture hidden fields directly on the sign-up page.

Has anyone found a workaround or best practice for this?
