Actually realtime works for showing changes in a record, it would be great if realtime updates also work for records which were recently added. At this time it does not work.
Example: I change the status of a existing task. That change appears realtime on a table on the dashboard.
But if I create a new record, this record will not be shown in the table until I refresh the whole page.
For my clients this will get a problem because they don’t see every change when it happens. That could mean, coworkers of the same team see other stuff, which other coworkers don’t see at the moment.
Custom code for refreshing the page every 10 minutes for example would not work great for me, because there are “add record” buttons. Sometimes it could refresh while the are adding a record and they have to start from the beginning again adding a record.
I hope this is a case, which more users get in trouble with. Realtime was one of the biggest reasons to switch to SDB, but for now it is not “full realtime”.
