Reach API calls limit quickly - Airtable

Hi All,

I built a small site using Softr + Airtable (Free plan, working as a data sourcing). My site reaches Airtable API calls litmit very soon every month. Just a few days, the limit of 1000 calls has run out. I don’t think there are so many visitors to my site. I want to know whether one API call is counted when one visit to my site?

My site is https://www.petfairsea.com/ can anyone help point out the reason of this issue. Thank you in advance.

We know and that’s why we build Softr’s own no code database similar to Airtable without limits… I would suggest to move to Softr DB if the limits are a concern in Airtable

Thank you for your quick response. I tried Softr’s DB last month, and yes it worked. However, there are two cool features of Airtable that makes me turn to Airtable again.

  1. Auto sorting.

  2. Insert or edit a record in one single form.

They are really convenient for me to edit my data, hope Softr would add these features soon.

  1. Can you elaborate on Auto sorting ?
  2. Do you refer to modal for editing ?

  1. Suppose I sort the records from A to Z. When I change the title of my record from AAA to ZZZ, it automatically moves to the last position.
  2. See attached screenshot, you will know what I meant.
