Open Header Links in a Sidebar Modal

I love the option to open a modal in a sidebar in certain blocks, but it would be most useful doing so from a header block. Is that an option or, short of that, is there custom code to get that same behavior? For reference, I’ve attached the option available in a Kanban block. Thanks!

I agree that it would be great if headers could have this option of opening a lateral modal. Right now it’s just a central modal as option.
