Can I somehow make an action item button download a file? Somehow via redirecting to a URL that stores the file in Airtable?

Won’t the Download button available in Table block cover the use case you have?

I’d need a download button per individual record in a list, so I only have:
Open page
Scroll to
Open URL
Edit record
One-click update
Delete record

Or am I missing something here? :slight_smile:

Yes, but what I need is a download button per individual record, so the topbar button is not an option. There must be a workaround to download a file via a URL, no? @Suzie

Hey @Tim_ClimatEU,

If you are using the last version of the table block, you can add a file field and connect to Airtable attachment field. When pressing the file on a table block you will be able to download it, it will not open a new tab.

If this can help, I would be glad. Regarding downloading with Action Buttons for each records, it’s not possible yet. I’ll pass your request surely.

Follow-up question for this topic:

I would like to have a topbar “Download All” button and then to download all the videos of the records, where the status says “accepted”. Right now users have to download each video manually and I would love to provide a more user firendly solution.
