Curious if anyone else has this issue. I’m using a “list with vertical cards and video” block. It is referencing an Airtable that has Vimeo URLs.
As you can see in the screenshot below, the thumbnails for the videos are not appearing. The URLs are correctly being referenced though so if I click on a card, it displays a pop-up with the desired video. Unsure why thumbnails are not showing though. Thanks in advance for any help!

Here we had such a case looks like we can get the thumbnail with embed but not with url. This is connected with the settings.
If it is a url, it returns only restricted data and in fact will not be exposable in public search and when it is embed code it will return full metadata and be displayed together with thumbnail.

I checked also the chat and the URL. As mentioned in this thread we should ask you to use embed codes for the videos since this restriction is coming from vimeo not Softr.
If you use Embed for the videos you will see the Thumbnails displayed.
I have an airtable base with the videos stored in an attachments column. But i’m not getting thumbnails to show. The videos play great though. I’m not seeing an embed or option to set the video to a URL location. What do I need to do differently?

Edit: For anyone still having this problem. I spoke to support again and they told me that this block doesn’t work and to use the new list grid. Now it is in beta, but hopefully will work!
I also have this issue, and managed to find a clumsy work around. I think it is an issue with the privacy settings on Vimeo. Looking at the code of the page, my thumbnails are all hosted (and I think generated) on a site called “vumbnail.com”, which wasn’t an authorized domain that my vimeo videos could be viewed/embedded on. With a new video, I tested setting the privacy on Vimeo to fully public and then the thumbnail showed up on Softr. After the thumbnail was generated I put the video back to private and the thumbnail stayed.
This seemed to work for new videos, but I can’t find out a way to clear the thumbnail of older videos so I can just start over. If i delete, and re-paste the video link it still uses the old thumbnail (or lack of). I can’t find a way to flush/reset the thumbnails and have Softr/Vumbnail start over with generating the thumbnails. I’ve spoken to Softr Support and they unfortunately haven’t been able to help.
