I used the “List with timeline” on one of my app’s pages when my DB was Airtable. After migrating my database to Softr DB, I was informed by the customer support team that the List with a timeline is incompatible with Softr DB.
This is accurate. The list with timeline block is an legacy block that is no longer support with our updated data sources.
I’m sorry you’re just finding this out after the switch though. We’re working on improving this process from a clarity stand point so users aren’t surprised with this post transition like it seems like you are. Open to any feedback you have. Thanks!
I think there needs to be a better designation between legacy and what is not legacy. Either separate sections or start marking anything that you consider legacy with a legacy tag like you do with “New”.

I would communicate those critical changes proactively with clear timelines. In addition, I would not depreciate a functionality that is in use without having a similar alternative to offer.
