List View To List Detail Issue

I’m sure I’m doing something wrong or maybe even imaging this but here is what I’m struggling with now.

I had a list view and a list detail view.
Was using the open list detail on click action (so when you clicked the block in the list view it would open that record in list detail).
It was perfect.
It would allow me to set a rule that filtered down in the list detail view to “If name matches CURRENT RECORD name” --not exact lingo but that is what it did.
It stopped working.
I went in and that option is going. Where it used to say Current Record or Logged in User it now only says logged in user.
It is also showing me the option to match on record ID. I’ve never seen that before and I’m not sure how to use it.

Can someone help?

Not sure if I correctly understand your problem. In my own experience, that filtering you mentioned is not available in list-detail block.

I do use such filter, though. After my list-detail block, I sometimes have a few more blocks. A list or table, for example. In those blocks, I can use such filter that you mentioned “if something matches CURRENT RECORD field”

Another thing that happen in my experience is, sometimes some areas in the dropdown within the filtering rules got blocked with something on the screen. This sometimes forced me to readjust my screen or scroll up and down in that property inspector area (that filtering rules setting area)
