Just Launched: Conditional Forms in Softr 🚀

Aren’t these supposed to have reCaptcha? Fancy new AI docs say they do, yet the toggle setting doesn’t seem to be here like the other forms.

Why do I feel like I’m doing QA on these forms?

Hi @Ben thanks for taking the time to submit your feedback so we can take the time to improve this feature.

Unfortunately the AI helper was wrong, and we don’t offer captcha for conditional forms yet.

Sorry @Jjenglert, but the way this has been deployed is just baffling

  • We were told we’d have this feature 3 years ago
  • It had the most requests
  • It was finally released 5 months ago
  • It is still in beta
  • It doesn’t have features of previous versions (I.e. reCaptcha)
  • It was launched as a paid premium feature…WHAT?..

…I should be capturing user data with it, but I’m performing functional QA on it instead (review the thread).

BTW-ratings don’t align with text alignment either:

I know you’ve put this on the back-burner, for reasons you’ve mentioned, but you have to admit that this has been ridiculous, right @artur? Don’t be surprised if it doesn’t get used enough since it’s still not ready for publication.

Thanks for sharing your feedback with us, Ben. I can assure you that we’re doing the best we can to make all of our customers happy, and we will continue to do such with your feedback in mind.

Also, re. reCapcha, it not being visible at the moment is a bug that I wasn’t aware of it. We’re working on adding it back in there.

@artur, adding header images is a great idea, but it needs size settings. Most images uploaded do not fit, especially with no way to adjust the size like other blocks:

Noted and shared with our team! We will work to improve this. Thanks for sharing!

Following up here. What’s the word on image size adjustment? Without settings, adding header images are useless.

Hi there,

We’ve added this to our backlog for forms and will be addressing it as soon as we can!
