Is there an option besides tabs to handle multiple detail views

I have a list button that opens a detail page with 10 tabs currently. Each of those tabs holds a child table view and other info related to the parent list. But I need maybe 18-20 tabs. The problem is that the tabs go out of view and you have to click the right arrow to get to the hidden tabs. This is not an ideal user experience. Is there another way or mechanism to let users select the tab or linked detail page they want to go to?

In theory the 3-dot menu (…) button(s) does the job. But that is very cryptic. You can’t even label it so how is the user supposed to know what to with it? There’s got to be a better way - yes?

With that many sections I’d split the detail page up instead of stacking more tabs, maybe group the child tables into a few themed detail pages linked from the main record. Users find a short menu of named pages a lot easier than scrolling through 20 tabs.

That makes sense. But Softr needs to provide more options on this front.
