is there a way to change the OTP options and send it via other options such as SMS

Hello,

I have developed a vendor portal system on Softr based on Notion databases.

I am experiencing an issue with the One-Time Password (OTP). The OTP is currently sent in a manner that is challenging for users to input. For instance, the OTP 1K7x03 contains lowercase and uppercase letters and numbers. Users must navigate to their email, copy the OTP, or repeatedly verify its correctness.

Would it be possible to modify the OTP to consist solely of six-digit numbers? Additionally, I would like to add an option to share the OTP via an SMS API, such as Twilio.

Every aspect of the portal development has been a positive experience

If anyone has any suggestions or automation techniques that could address this issue, please let me know.

Hi there!

Thanks for your feedback on this. I’ll bring it to our product team to further review.

For SMS, I do think that’s an option we will explore, but not this quarter.

I’ll report back if I get any news on this!

Thanks for your reply!

Sending an SMS OTP isn’t my top priority right now. My main focus is to modify the OTP to consist only of numbers.

Please let me know if anything comes up.

again, thank you
