Is it possible to allow users to take subscriptions from one another to allow users to see hidden videos & content?

Short answer: not really (at least not fully)

Softr is great for simple membership sites and directories, but an OnlyFans/Patreon-style platform needs much more.

What Softr can do:
Basic membership/login
Paid access to pages (via Stripe)
Simple content gating

What it cannot handle well:

  • Creator dashboards (multiple users uploading content)
  • Subscription per creator
  • PPV content system
  • Messaging/chat
  • Complex payout system to creators

Verdict:

You can build a very basic MVP or landing version, but a real OnlyFans/Patreon clone will quickly hit limitations.

If you’re serious, better options are:

  • Bubble (no-code but more powerful)
  • Custom build (Django / Node.js)
  • Or a ready SaaS script

So: Softr = basic membership site, not a full creator platform.
