Introducing Softr Databases – Join the beta waitlist! 🎉

We’re excited to announce Softr Databases — a new way to create and manage your data directly inside Softr, without needing to connect to external tools. Everything stays in one place, making it easier than ever to build, automate, and run your app.

The beta is almost ready, and we’re opening up a waitlist! Sign up today, and we’ll notify you when the beta is enabled for your account.

We’d love for you to be among the first to try it out and share your feedback!

Wooo! Don’t miss out on this one, folks!!

Signed Up. Really looking forward to this.
Do you have a blog or any other informational content where you can share what features to be expected in Beta?

I tried to add feedback in the Beta Portal and I’m receiving this error when I click the “Add Feedback” button.

Is there a timeline for:

Import from CSV
Import from Airtable

Will there be a feature similar to Airtable Automations, if so with a timeline?

A crucial feature for me is to generate multiple linked records on form submission, hence the question above.

Hi! We will be adding both "import CSV & migrate from airtable (and other databases). Maybe @gedastava can give you a timeline when available next?

And for the automation part, thats where our workflows will be coming in, and that is expected around June.

Otherwise, hope you’re enjoying it @MarkSchofield ! Good to hear from you

Just wanted to share a list of things I ran into while beta testing this. I think if we had the following, I would completely get rid of Airtable and never look back lol.

  • Import data from CSV to an existing base to add to the data set (as opposed to having to create an entirely new base)
  • Paste (ctrl + v ) large datasets by automatically expanding rows (it doesn’t auto expand to add what you’re trying to paste)
  • Automatically convert data into single or multi-select when editing a column ( it currently just deletes it)
  • Expand button would be nice
  • Ability to export data from the base
  • Undo button or the ability to hit CTRL + Z to undo changes

Really good feedback, @LaurenSeppala !

I’ll be sure to pass it to our DB Team so they can see. I know some of these items are already being worked on such as CSV import, undo functionality, and others.

Appreciate you taking the time to share!
