Intro and a little help filtering records please

Hi. I’m very impressed with softr so far. I have no real knowledge about creating databases, but very impressed with Softr so far. I’m using the softr database and will be adding ‘Make’ later.

I was wondering if anyone can help with just one issue I’m struggling with.

My database has a table for process documents (and there will be others for equipment, subcontractor records etc). Users may be responsible for one or several sites, each having a set of documents. I want the page to open listing no records, so that the user selects a site(s) from the dropdown filter box. But I want just the sites he is responsible to be in the filter dropdown box. At the moment I see all of the created sites, for all users.

I hope I’ve explained that well. Thanks in advance for any ideas you may have.

For your dropdown configuration, you should see the text “SYNC OPTIONS WITH DATA SOURCE”, look underneath there and there should be two small icons. The one on the right allows you to set conditions and filters to the options visible to users.
