Inline editing for Tables

Inline editing for Tables

You can now edit enabled fields directly within your table—no need to open a separate form. Just click, make changes, and you’re done.

Note: This is available for Table blocks connected to Notion, SmartSuite, Google Sheets, and ClickUp. Airtable and other data sources are coming soon!

So excited about this!!
Is there a rough timeline for when Airtable is available? Days / Weeks / Months?

Is there a way with inline editing to track who has made the change and when? At the moment I use the edit function with hidden fields to track this but don’t see a way to do this with inline editing?

Maybe with javascript you can capture the current user and time of editing.

Sounds great, but repeating the other requests: Airtable release date?

Hey @swshrey That is expected in 3-4 weeks, stay tuned!

Best,

Does this work with Softr Databases as yet?

@Andranik Are we nearing completion for the Airtable inline editing capabilities? Have a delivery of a product this weekend en this would make quite the impact.

+1 - super keen to get this implemented

We’re working hard for this, but it looks like it’s still ~4 weeks away at the moment @Workflowheroes_Marc

Yes, this works with softr databases @Acefast

Are there any guidelines how you turn on this functionality for Softr databases? I can’t find it in the table list settings?

Let me know

Hi there,

When using the table block, click into one of the fields, and scroll down to inline editing. It looks like this:

+1 for this, keeping my fingers crossed for an app launch next week

Inline editing is here for all of our new data sources. For Airtable and Hubspot, it’ll come in late August (is the plan)
