I would love an option to embed a Calculator

Is anyone aware of a way to create a calculator? I don’t need it to flow back into a database (we use Monday.com primarily). But I would need it to pull info from one.

Imagine: We are a cookie company who is meeting with Cookie Monster. Our sales rep, heads on down to Sesame Street, sitting at Cookie Monster’s kitchen table with our Cookie App (created in Softr) loaded onto the sales rep’s tablet.

The sales rep and Cookie Monster review all of the cookie options, and Cookie Monster wants to place an order - however he wants to discuss pricing.

Rather than trying to utilize a clunky excel spreadsheet on a tablet, I’d like our sales rep to be able to demonstrate the various pricing programs right in our softr app. Think - volume discounts, early order, early pay discounts, etc.

Hmm, I’m not aware of a way to create one off hand, but I know that you can do it. Pulling in custom values from a DB might require some custom coding or added dev specialties though. Instead of a “calculator” maybe look into creating an interactive form with input and drop down options that equate to values which could provide that dynamic pricing experience as well.

Thanks! I’ll do some more research. I’m not a coder, but I might be able to handle an interactive form. It’s almost entirely a reduction in percentages - check this box price goes down 8%, check this another 6%, etc etc

Got it. Maybe you can do this with fillout forms, which you can then embed into Softr?

Hi @mcoleman the best option would be to create a component in toddle, that you can embed, the unique problem it is to learn de tool just for that…
