I’m attempting to configure the notification sender details under Settings > User Notifications > Sender Details and am not receiving the Confirm Sender Signature email from Postmark.
In my Google Workspace I created a group email address, noreply@businessname.com, entered it into the Sender Details in Softr, and no email from Postmark was received.
I then deleted the group email, and in my Google Workspace I instead created an alias email, noreply@businessname.com, for my user account, entered it into the Sender Details in Softr, and no email from Postmark was received.
I then deleted the alias email, and instead entered my user account email address, firstname@businessname.com, into the Sender Details in Softr, and I did receive an email from Postmark allowing me to confirm it.
It seems that Softr/Postmark doesn’t support the use of group email addresses or alias email addresses as the sender email address.
I don’t want to users of my app to be able to response to transactional emails (like a password reset) at my personal app email address (firstname@businessname.com).
How do you setup a noreply@businessname.com email address for Softr to send emails from without paying $7.20/mo to Google Workspace for a dedicated user account for this that will never be used?
