How to filter a multi-option data field

Hi everyone I have a form where I’ve created a dropdown box that allows for multi-select.
When use this data in a list block and attempt to filter the list by items in the dropdown box, it doesn’t work. I confirmed several records in the table that would qualify for the filter but the data doesn’t appear. Is it not possible to filter. Is it not possible to filter on a multi-option field?

I’m having this same issue. I’m trying to filter using tags on a multi-tag field and the records are not returning even when the tag value is contained within it.

Records like these are not getting returned:

Records with a single value for Genre filter fine.
