I want to delete a post I posted a while ago - I’ve flagged it for moderation but I don’t know if anyone will look at it.
Is there a moderator/administrator I can message about it? If not, would deleting my account in the community remove it?

You do not need to delete your account. That usually leaves the posts in place or only removes your name, and staff still have to clean them up.
On a reply you wrote, open the three dots under that post. Delete only shows for a short time, and only while nothing else depends on the post. On an older topic that option is gone on purpose. Flagging was the right step. You can also edit the post and replace the body with a short note that you want it removed, so it is harmless while you wait. Open the flag again and add one sentence in the message box asking a moderator to delete it. Flags are read, they are just not instant.
