Hiddenfields are not submitted after changing airtable base

Hey everyone!

I´m not sure if this is a real Bug or just a technical necessary:

We created a big Frontend in Softr which is connected to an Airtable Base. When we now duplicate our App in Softr and the Base in Airtable for a new client, then of course we have to reconnect this Softr App to the new Airtable base.

BUT although everything ist identical, every coloumn and Value in Airtable AND Softr seems to find these Coloumns in the Hiddenfields, the Values are not submittet. We first have to click into every Button, go to the hidden fields, select a random value, save and then select the right value. Only after this step, the Hiddenfields are working again, while everything else is done by selecting the base and table.

This takes a lot of time and is a big source of potential failures. Is there any Workaround for this ?

Thanks!

@niklas, Thanks so much for pointing this out!

While we can’t offer a fix at the moment, I’ve passed this along to the tech team, and they’ll definitely keep it in mind for future updates.

Really appreciate you flagging it and helping us improve!

Thanks for finding and pointing this out @niklas. Otherwise, everyone is none the wiser. I have a few recently migrated apps, on hold for a while now, waiting for them to finish “the new Softr”. I find it’s better to wait a while before adopting new features so I don’t have to perform QC as much.
