Hands-on / Performance-based Certification

I think multiple-choice questions MCQs have their place in the testing industry. I believe having someone “prove” their application of Softr expertise is more valuable for both expert and client. The exam can still be open book and not time restricted with the addition of virtual (and/or AI) proctors to minimize proxy testers. You can update the use case exercises at anytime for the test taker. You should look beyond identification and recall based questions.

Good notes @PaulD !

I agree that multiple choice questions don’t fully test ones ability to build something, and that hands on work/testing is more valuable.

It’d be cool if we could offer something like this in the future for our community. Until then, thanks for sharing your feedback with us!

That’s great @Jjenglert The MCQ tests can be positioned to track to and pre-qualify for the hands-on (performance-based test). Your customers deserve an independent measure of validity.
