Both Google Sheets and Airtable integrate seamlessly with Softr, but there are some differences in functionality:
- Airtable tends to offer more flexibility with relational data and structured fields, which is why your trial run with Airtable may have felt smoother.
- Google Sheets, while free and easy to use, can require a bit more setup.
To display tags properly in Softr using Google Sheets, you’ll need to separate the values in the column with a semicolon “(;)” instead of a comma (,).
We could need to adjust the docs for that.
If you prefer Airtable, you’re absolutely right that it’s tightly integrated with Softr, and it can simplify some workflows. However, both options are viable depending on your needs and preferences.
