It would be nice if I would be able to turn off buttons by global data restrictions where user is not allowed to edit or create so that they don’t see what they can’t to. Otherwise it would be great to configure the Error Message. Actually for the user it looks like the app is not working correctly. Here’s an example where I try to edit a record, which I’m not allowed to by global data restrictions because I can see the button.
Can’t you just use button visibility rules for this?
Not sure because of the specific use case, just one group should be not able, not many groups should be able in this direction, and the Softr docs are saying the buttons disappear, if I’m understanding right.
Yeah just configure your button so only the right user groups or user conditions can see it. otherwise we hide it.
And there are so many buttons which all need to be changed instead of doing it in my opinion the right way via global data restrictions
I see. Thanks for your feedback!
