Form creates new single select option when empty

I have a form with at its end a single select field with only 1 option:
Field: “Send Form to Promoter?” & option: “Send Email”

If I don’t select the option, Softr creates a new empty option in Airtable.

I’ve added a screenshot of my settings too.
