Filter options by conditions - Conditional forms vs Add/Edit record

In conditional forms, I am able to select a form answer as apart of the conditional filter; however, in add/edit records I am not able to select a previous input as apart of the conditional statement.

Can we get this changed? It would be much easier to be able to filter this way with add/edit records. Right now we are having to create conditional forms for all add/edit patterns as we need this specific type of conditional filtering around previous inputs/answers.

Agreed! The native add/edit forms would be much better if they had the same functionality as conditional forms. This would align functionality across the platform and provide a much better user experience.
