Field-level user permissions

Hello! At one point I believe Softr had functionality to set permissions for a user group at the field level. This seems to have been removed and placed on the roadmap. What are good workarounds? I am linked to Google Sheets and have user-specific comment columns in the data source. I was hoping to give each individual user the ability to edit their own comment field (but want all users to see all comments). I was hoping to display this all in the same List block rather than link out to a separate comments page but perhaps that’s the best way given current functionality.

Have you tried an Action Button with visibility rules?

I think this might apply to your use case.
Hope it works out for you.

Hi @paulk1, indeed, as Mark mentioned, the “Edit” action button is the solution here.
