Hi @Linda,

Thank you for your post.

For cases like this, we recommend setting up a custom sender email for sending invitations and other Softr-related emails to your end users. Please refer to this article for detailed instructions.

A few important notes:

  • The sender email must be a corporate email address (emails from public domains like Gmail or Yahoo are not supported).
  • You’ll need to verify ownership of your sender email. Postmark will send you a verification email with a clickable link, please make sure to click that link to complete the verification.
  • Once verified, republish your app and try sending the emails again.

Let us know if you run into any issues!

Hi Sveta- Quick question … why does it always seem to work when we ask people specifically to enter a message on the form? could it be a bot or something??

Hi @Linda. I’m not sure I fully understand the question, could you please elaborate a bit? Do you mean that you have a form block, and form submissions are sent to an email address, and when users are asked to enter a message, it works?

@Linda specifically, it looks like the user is trying to send you an email to the “showskill-clinton87329@softr.app” email, which does not work. This is a domain we create for you, but it cannot receive emails - it’s only meant to notify your users.

If you want this default email to also recieve emails, you need to setup a “custom sender email” like @sveta.ohanyan was referring to above, I believe.
