Edit records form should be a fully functional conditional form

@david_mheryan, adding records with conditional forms have been requested for years. This has to be a major undertaking for Softr, especially if they are to work with all external datasources that have limitations not under their control. It took 3 years for Softr to add conditional logic to its original forms, that still have QA/QC problems!

With the delays and other API issues, switching to Softr’s databases sounds like a fix, BUT after giving them a try over the last few months it’s clear they need more work and resource allocation. For instance, browser tabs with Softr databases crash since we’ve started. This is just one of a few problems we’ve experienced with the native databases.

@artur, all I get are Softr ads asking to switch from Airtable to Softr databases. We suggest dialing back on new feature releases and allocating more resources to QA to improve the reliability and usability of existing features. Reporting regular issues associated with feature creep have always been a fundamental problem with Softr. It’s what slows down building and keeps business users from switching to all of Softr’s new features immediately.
