Displaying filters conditionally

Has anyone got any tricks for showing particular filters on a list only if a “parent” filter is selected?

For example, I have a filter where a record type ‘Job’ can be selected. Only if ‘Job’ is selected I wish to display another filter for ‘Job Type’. If ‘Job’ isn’t selected, then I don’t want the ‘Job Type’ filters to display. Any ideas?
