Would be nice to show a URL field so we can link to a Terms of Service page, when onboarding a user.
Thanks, this is great however my full Terms of Service are behind the login wall as it contains proprietary information. In Conditional forms and Onboarding forms, the following:
< a href="URL" target="_blank>This is a link< /a>
Does not work as required, as 1. URL is not underlined 2. Open in new tab/window doesn’t work.
I understand, however, terms and conditions are mostly used before the sign up, so that the user can understand if they need to sign up to that portal or if the conditions are not for them. That’s why the terms and conditions are mostly used the way I recommended.
If you want to have a Terms and Conditions page that is visible only for the logged-in users, that will not work as a page to see and confirm before the sign up.
Thanks David, I understand you. In our case however, we protect access to all aspects of the site from public access, and only invited users can access it (there is no public sign up). Hence, we need to show the Terms and Conditions after a login, and only then get their acceptance. The logic is working ok using forms and workflows, I just wish the display fields on forms were more than just Headings, dividers and text.
Got you, thank you for the details.
I passed this thread to the product team, so that they can consider this for the future updates, if feasible. Thanks again.
