Difference between "app visitors" and "external app users"?

Hi all, I am looking at Softr’s pricing plans, and am wondering what the difference is between “app visitors” and “external app users”?

Hi,
App visitors don’t need to log in or to sign up. Basically they are not users, they can only look at the non gated parts of your app.

External app users need to log in or to sign up to view the gated part of your app.
