Default sort by 'as defined in source'

I have a list where we have a dropdown box that’s set to sort by ‘as defined in source’ - this works brilliantly

but when I want to sort that same field in the table by ‘as defined in source’ I don’t have the option - it only sorts them alphabetically, which makes no sense!

Can ‘as defined by source’ be added here or does anyone have a workaround please

Coming back to this as its still causing us issues.

Is there any way we can set the default sort to ‘as defined in data source’ please? It’s sorting our severity levels by First to Last and that sorts it alphabetically which doesn’t make sense.
