Date Range Filters

Hey there - feel like the community would love an update on when you guys are planning on rolling out this feature, thanks!

This is crucial. I remember reading once in the community that it wasn’t possible due to airtable constraints, so I thought it would be doable with softr databases. Any idea if this functionality will be added?

Hey Folks!

It is planned to be released by the end of this year.

Thanks for your patience with this folks, it is a bit delayed and rescheduled for this quarter, at the moment, you can do a workaround with the AI vibe coding block, by giving the prompts to include date ranges as filters.

Best,

Thanks for responding. The AI vibe coding block is great, but the solo date range filters will be a fantastic addition. Greetings to the whole team - you are doing an awesome job!

Just created a post about this, then found this thread. Any update on this? Softr has said this is coming for over six months now. This functionality is critical to many different types of apps.

HI @Andranik - You had mentioned this feature was coming in Q1. We’re almost in Q3. Any update?

Hi @TobyMacLeod

You’re right to call this out, and apologies for the delay here.

This feature was previously planned earlier, but it ended up being rescheduled as priorities shifted on the product side. I understand this is frustrating, especially since date range filtering is important for many app use cases.

The latest update I have from the product team is that this is still on the roadmap. Optimistically, we’re aiming for Q3, but realistically it may land around Q3–Q4 depending on the team’s final planning and implementation timeline.

I don’t want to overpromise another exact date, but I can confirm that the request is still active and has not been dropped.

In the meantime, the current workaround is still to use the AI Vibe Coding Block to build date range filtering logic where needed, though I fully understand this is not the same as having it available natively in standard filters.

Thanks again for your patience and for keeping this thread active — I’ll share any more concrete update here once we have one.

@Andranik - Thanks for the quick reply. I appreciate the update and understand you can’t provide an exact date. Glad to hear it is still on the roadmap. I look forward to its launch.
