The Created By field stores my name and not the logged in user when a record is Created by the logged in test user.
I have now tried Creating records by a test user on multiple tables on Windows, Android and iOS. Same outcome everywhere. So I can only have one user - me - no matter whoever is logged in.
Is my understanding incorrect or do I have to set some configuration parameter or is there a product or instance defect?
Surely a logged in user that creates a record will have their logged in identity stored in the Created By field.
For reference, I created the user in the Softr Users table which automatically sent an invitation to their email address. The test user then clicked on the embedded link and created a Softr login ID /password. Then the test user created various records in my app. I am using Airtable for the relational Database.
The Softr platform is amazing but I am perplexed by this issue and Softr Support have not been able to help me fix this.
I need multiple users that will not have access to other users data. My intent is to only allow users to Read, Update and Delete their own Created records.
Can anyone help me get this resolved?
