It is very frustrating when you have a hero block with no button for example. I can’t just add one I have to reduce my expectations. I should easily be able to add one, or even two as per example above.
In addition, right now if I want text only the fonts and formatting is in a completely different UI than your other blocks which drives me crazy. This way, it should be setup so I can choose a header as 3XL rather than trying to guess by eye if my size 16 font is similar. All the settings should be as per your standard blocks with padding options, hex colour per each dragable block element.
You are absolutely right. I am currently investigating what Softr can do compared to other options, and it is hard to believe that it is not possible to change the position of items on a page. It seems custom blocks would be the way to achieve this.
It would be great to have a visual builder integrated with the custom code block on Softr Studio, aligning with our project’s general theme settings.
The custom code block is powerful because it allows us to populate values with dynamic data, though it requires extra coding. Imagine the empowerment users would gain if we could visually build custom blocks and visually map dynamic data into them.
