It would be great to have the ability to conditionally display or enable specific fields within record edit forms based on the user’s previous selections in the same form. This would allow for more dynamic, intuitive, and context-aware forms.
This would solve lots of issues for me too. As it is now, my users need to wait for a new button to load (since it was conditioned in visibility options) and it’s definitely not fast enough, the ideal scenario would be it happening live while filling the edit form.
+1
I totally agree. Having this feature would be really helpful. Being able to show or enable fields based on what the user selects in the form would make everything much more intuitive and cleaner to use. It would definitely improve the experience and avoid a lot of confusion.
We REALLY need it.
A page just to edit-forms, as it is possible with create forms. That would allow us to send a specific link & its record_ID just to edit the conditional fields displayed, without the need to have a details page.
+1 for this. What are other users doing as a workaround for this? Once a user has inputted a record via a conditional form (for instance) how do I let them edit the original record and only show the fields that are relevant to their original selection.
